Shipping instructions:

We offer two methods of shipping: United Parcel Service and United States Postal Service Priority Mail. Each has advantages and disadvantages. The following table offers a short summary.

United Parcel Service

USPS Priority Mail

tracking offered on all packages

no tracking offered (yet)

guaranteed delivery times on ground commercial packages, 3 day & 2 day

2 - 3 day delivery on virtually all packages to all destinations.

UPS Zones A & B (see chart, local to New Skete) less than USPS for the same weight.

Longer distances very inexpensive, especially for smaller items.

Saturday delivery with extra payment (expensive)

Saturday delivery at no extra charge.

Although the US Postal Service does not offer tracking on Priority Mail packages (yet), we have had excellent results with packages so shipped. Packages usually arrive in 2 to 3 days of sending and there is Saturday delivery of packages at no extra cost. The savings on packages sent longer distances can be considerable.

Please note that the zones for UPS and Priority Mail differ. Consult the respective charts for the correct zone.

Also note that shipping costs are for the shipping weight of the product not the weight of the product itself. Shipping weight includes all wrapping and boxing necessary for shipping and protecting your order.

We usually ship on a Monday, if that is at all possible, to get packages to their destinations early in the week.
